Heat Rookie Reveals His NBA Mount Rushmore

The Miami Heat are eagerly anticipating the 2024-2025 NBA season. They’ve made several key offseason additions, including their 2024 draft pick, Kel’el Ware. Ware, a 7-footer with notable size and strength, could significantly enhance the team. If he performs as expected, he could pair with Bam Adebayo in the post, creating difficult matchups for opponents.

Fans have to wait a few months to see Ware in action, but he recently gave an interview with Bally Sports Florida, offering a glimpse of his personality.

During the interview, he was asked about his NBA “Mount Rushmore,” naming the top four players in his view. Ware chose Wilt Chamberlain and Kobe Bryant, common picks, but also mentioned Anthony Edwards and Adebayo, which might surprise many NBA fans. Edwards is relatively new to the league, and while Adebayo is highly regarded, he’s not typically mentioned among the all-time great centers.

Despite these unconventional choices, Ware confidently stands by his picks. His inclusion of Adebayo could endear him to his new teammate, with whom he hopes to form a strong on-court partnership.
