Ismael Bennacer has had a difficult rehabilitation journey, but according to a report, there is hope and he may return to the San Siro pitch in less than a month.
According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bennacer has successfully completed the initial stage of his recovery and has now begun actively running towards his comeback to the field, with a target set for mid-December.
Originally, the plan was for Bennacer to make his return to the field in a red and black jersey in 2024. However, due to positive training sessions and a favorable overall condition, the recovery process has been expedited.
In a recent training session, the Algerian midfielder joined his teammates and engaged in individual exercises after, while the others participated in a practice game against the Primavera side. Once aspects like tackling have been assessed in training, Bennacer will progress to testing them in actual matches. Although the upcoming game against Atalanta on December 9 may come too soon, he is setting his sights on the match against Monza eight days later.
