The Club is pleased to announce the acquisition of Arijanet Muric for an undisclosed fee.

The goalkeeper, nicknamed Aro, joins Portman Road from Burnley, penning a four-year contract with the Blues. He becomes Town’s fifth signing of the summer.

Born in Switzerland and having earned 38 caps for Kosovo, the 25-year-old played a pivotal role in Burnley’s promotion to the Premier League in the 2022/23 season. He followed this with 10 appearances for Burnley in the top-flight last season.

Muric began his professional career at Manchester City and gained valuable experience on loan at clubs such as NAC Breda, Nottingham Forest, Girona, Willem II, and Adana Demirspor before his move to Burnley. He made a total of 55 appearances during his tenure at Turf Moor.

“I’m thrilled to have joined the Club and am eager to get started,” Aro stated to TownTV.

“Having observed the team’s style of play last season, I believe it will suit me very well, making this move ideal for me.
