The 21-year-old joined Forest in the summer, making a £15 million switch from Manchester United to the City Ground. Initially, Elanga faced some challenges breaking into the regular lineup, but since Callum Hudson-Odoi’s injury in October, he has become a fixture in the starting eleven.
In a recent interview with the Premier League, Elanga was asked to describe himself in three words. After a brief pause, he characterized himself as “electric, sharp, kind.”
Since his move to Forest, the former Manchester United player has made a significant impact, quickly adapting to his new team. He showcased his abilities by scoring his second goal against West Ham in a recent match.
Although there are moments when Elanga’s final product could be improved, the Forest fans have shown strong support for him. Daniel Sturridge commended Elanga for his outstanding goal against West Ham, marking his second goal of the season for Forest.
Under the management of Steve Cooper, Elanga seems to have found the ideal mentor for this stage of his career. The club’s supporters recognize his importance, and with more game time, his overall performance is expected to improve.
