BREAKING NEWS: Cowboys joint practice with Los Angeles Rams disrupted by scuffles

Oxnard, Calif. – Tensions rose during the Dallas Cowboys’ joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams. Cowboys defensive tackle Albert Huggins was involved in a confrontation during a drill, continuing his play after the whistle and accidentally knocking down a Los Angeles Rams staff member. This led to some verbal exchanges, and Huggins was subsequently removed from practice.

While there were several tense moments, there were no full-blown fights, just some pushing and shoving. This was the second joint practice between the two teams, which are often valued more than preseason games by coaches and players.

Cornerback Trevon Diggs commented, “Yeah, it’s good. Good energy. Keep it football, and yeah, it’s good to get riled up, I guess. I don’t do that.”

When asked if such situations help in evaluating players, particularly those in the interior, Diggs responded, “Maybe. I don’t know.”

The Cowboys have one more practice scheduled for Thursday before traveling to Las Vegas for their preseason game against the Raiders on Saturday.
