Nottingham Forest’s hopes of securing Lazio’s Felipe Anderson have been dashed, as the winger’s contract is set to be extended beyond this season.
Despite interest from Forest, Fiorentina, and Santos, Anderson has reportedly rejected approaches from these clubs and is poised to sign a new contract with Lazio until 2028, with an annual salary of €3.5 million.
Lazio’s sporting director, Angelo Mariano Fabiani, has purportedly confirmed this development, signaling the Brazilian’s commitment to the Serie A side.
Anderson, who has contributed a goal and five assists in 16 matches this season, is on the verge of pledging his long-term future to Biancocelesti, pending the official announcement.
