Former NFL Coach Unleashes Scathing Critique on Giants Before Epic ‘TNF’ Clash

It’s hard to find someone in the NFL who speaks as candidly as Jeff Saturday. The former player, interim coach, and now analyst shared his thoughts on ESPN’s “First Take” regarding the upcoming matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, stating that the Giants have “no chance” against the Cowboys.

Saturday’s remarks were more focused on the need for Dallas to step up rather than implying New York is incapable. He emphasized, “This is a massive game for the Cowboys. They have a challenging schedule ahead, especially against division rivals. They need to dominate this game and prove their worth.”

His perspective highlights the importance of this game for Dallas, which is starting the season at 1-2 after disappointing performances against the New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens. With upcoming games against the Steelers, Lions, and 49ers, the Cowboys need to be more driven than ever against the Giants to avoid further issues this season.

Conversely, the Giants, also at 1-2, are coming off a 21-15 victory against the Cleveland Browns, where Daniel Jones passed for 236 yards and two touchdowns without any interceptions.

Ultimately, a loss for the Cowboys would be a significant setback, while the Giants could view a loss as just another hurdle in a season anticipated to be filled with challenges. Saturday believes the Cowboys must approach this game with urgency and rise to the occasion.

The game at MetLife Stadium is set to kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Thursday.
