NC State basketball alum TJ Warren has signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the New York Knicks for training camp, the team announced in a press release on Thursday.
Warren, a seasoned forward who recently turned 31, had a workout with the Sacramento Kings in September, but it didn’t result in a roster spot.
While there’s no assurance that the 6-foot-8, 220-pound forward’s time with the Knicks will extend beyond the preseason, the Exhibit 10 contract and his recent tryout with the Kings suggest there’s still interest in his potential as a professional player.

Throughout his 10-year NBA career, which began after being selected 14th overall in the 2014 NBA Draft and winning ACC Player of the Year in 2013-14, Warren has played for four teams, averaging 14.3 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.
