JUST IN: Three Perfect Trade Destinations for Carolina’s RB Sensation

Three Perfect Trade Destinations for Carolina’s RB Sensation

The Carolina Panthers are currently 1-6 and have a dismal 3-21 record stretching back to last season. This struggling franchise seems to hit new lows each week.

General manager Dan Morgan needs to take action. Under increased scrutiny after his promotion in the offseason, he has a long-term vision, but this season is effectively over. Therefore, the former linebacker should consider accumulating assets in preparation for the 2025 offseason.

Eagles News: Miles Sanders makes list of fantasy football running backs to avoid - Bleeding Green Nation

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport mentioned that Miles Sanders might be on the trading block. The veteran running back hasn’t lived up to expectations since joining the team in the 2023 free agency. With second-round rookie Jonathon Brooks nearing his return, the front office could look to trade Sanders before he leaves this spring.

With that in mind, here are three potential destinations for Sanders ahead of the 2024 trade deadline.

Possible trade destinations for Carolina Panthers RB Miles Sanders

Kansas City Chiefs

This could be a solid destination for Miles Sanders. The Kansas City Chiefs remain undefeated as they pursue a historic three-peat. However, they are leaning more on their defense rather than the explosive offense typically associated with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes.

While the return of Kareem Hunt has helped fill the void left by the injured Isiah Pacheco, and Samaje Perine serves as a valuable pass-catching option, adding someone like Sanders could be an improvement, despite his underwhelming performance with the Panthers.

The Chiefs are reportedly more focused on acquiring a wide receiver before the 2024 trade deadline. However, adding a capable pass-catcher out of the backfield wouldn’t hurt their cause.

Carolina might be willing to part with Sanders for a late-round pick or even a pick swap. The former second-rounder from Penn State would likely jump at the opportunity to join a championship contender if a deal can be arranged.
