Unpacking the Legacy: 2-4-7 and the North Carolina Tar Heels’ Journey to Greatness

TALLAHASSEE  – Florida State will host North Carolina on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Fla., with the game airing on the ACC Network.

 

 

 

The Tar Heels come into the matchup with a 4-4 overall record and a 1-3 mark in Atlantic Coast Conference play. They recently ended a four-game losing streak with a decisive 41-14 victory over Virginia. UNC started the season strong with three consecutive wins against Minnesota (19-17), Charlotte (38-20), and NC Central (45-10). However, they then faced a setback, starting with a high-scoring loss to James Madison (70-50) and subsequent defeats to Duke (21-20), Pitt (34-24), and Georgia Tech (41-34).
