Ducks Make Bold Play for 5-Star Offensive Star in Shocking Move. After their victory over Wisconsin, Oregon football is heading into their bye week but they’re not hitting the pause button on recruiting. The top-ranked Ducks are still making moves, especially with the Class of 2026 in mind.

Recently, five-star tight end Kendre Harrison provided an update on his recruitment. According to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, Harrison, a 6’7″, 250-pound standout from Reidsville, North Carolina, will announce his commitment on November 30th. Ranked as the No. 1 tight end in the 2026 class by On3, Harrison has a strong list of suitors, including Oregon, North Carolina, Miami, Florida State, Penn State, and Tennessee.

Oregon survives Wisconsin scare heading into the bye

Oregon football has just wrapped up a grueling seven-game stretch, traveling coast to coast. That kind of schedule can take a toll, and it nearly led to their first loss of the season. Despite trailing 10-6 at halftime and 13-6 heading into the fourth quarter against Wisconsin, the Ducks mounted a comeback to secure the victory.

Early in the season, Oregon had their share of struggles, with close calls against Idaho and Boise State. But since then, they’ve been dominant. The only real scare came against No. 2 Ohio State, a game the Ducks won by just one point. In every other contest, they’ve scored over 30 points.

Now, with a much-needed bye week on the horizon, Oregon will get a chance to rest and recover. After the break, they’ll face unranked Washington before likely taking on either Indiana or Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship. While the Ducks have already endured a tough stretch, the upcoming rest could give them the edge they need to finish strong.
