Broncos Standout Rover Ruled Out of Squad Amid Serious Injury

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos are expected to welcome back a starting safety for Week 12.

After missing Denver’s Week 11 win over Atlanta due to an abdomen issue, safety Brandon Jones participated fully in practice for the second day in a row and was not given a game status. This suggests he will be available to play against the Raiders.

Guard Ben Powers (shoulder) progressed to a full participant on Friday after being limited on Thursday and sitting out Wednesday’s practice. He was also not assigned a game status.

Defensive end Zach Allen, who was limited on Wednesday and fully participated on Thursday with a non-injury-related designation, was limited again on Friday and is now listed as questionable. Allen is also dealing with a heel injury in addition to his previous non-injury-related designation.

Despite being full participants in all three practices this week, linebacker Drew Sanders (Achilles) and wide receiver Josh Reynolds (hand) have been ruled out. Sanders remains on the Physically Unable to Perform list, while Reynolds is on injured reserve.

The Broncos will face the Raiders at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday at 2:05 p.m. MT.
