The Kentucky Wildcats are strengthening their 2025 football recruiting class, with a recent commitment from a four-star recruit who announced his decision on Tuesday. This comes after the program lost wide receiver Ja’Kayden Ferguson, who recently decommitted.
Following Ferguson’s departure, Kentucky quickly intensified their efforts to secure what could be the final addition to their 2025 recruiting class. Their persistence paid off on Tuesday when the recruit announced his commitment to the Wildcats via Twitter.
A 6-foot-3, 190-pound prospect from Illinois, Miller adds size and versatility to Kentucky’s future offense, which may lose Dane Key and Barion Brown this offseason.
Miller had narrowed his choices to eight schools: Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas State, Michigan State, and Miami (FL). Ultimately, he selected the Wildcats over other offers from programs such as Ole Miss, UCLA, Texas A&M, and USC. Rivals ranks him 183rd overall in the 2025 class.
After the loss of a wide receiver to decommitment and the potential departure of Brown and Key to the NFL Draft, Mark Stoops and his staff quickly addressed the need by securing a commitment from one of the top remaining pass-catchers.
As Kentucky continues to strengthen its 2025 recruiting class, it will be interesting to see which other recruits decide to join the program.
