The Steelers have added linebacker Julius Welschof to their practice squad.
Welschof initially joined the team as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft. He previously played defensive end for Charlotte, although his 2023 season was limited to just four games due to injury. Before his time at Charlotte, Welschof had a solid stint at Michigan, appearing in 35 games over his college career, including all 14 games in the 2022 season.
Hailing from Miesbach, Bavaria, Germany, Welschof brings an international background to the team.
