Patriots Make 2 Huge Roaster Moves Ahead Week 13

The New England Patriots had a productive week of practice, with perfect attendance on Friday ahead of their Week 13 clash with the Indianapolis Colts. However, they still made two key roster moves for Sunday’s game. Left guard  Michael Jordan and linebacker Keshawn Banks were elevated from the practice squad. Jordan, who had been released by the Patriots and re-signed just three days later, started 11 games this season. Although he showed promise early as one of the team’s top offensive linemen, his performance has declined in recent week.

Banks, elevated for the third consecutive week, has appeared in two games for New England this season. Meanwhile, starting guard Cole Strange, who has been sidelined by injury, was ruled out for the game. The 2022 first-round pick has yet to play this year, but coach Jerod Mayo expects him to return in 2024. The Colts, in turn, promoted two former Patriots players: offensive lineman Atonio Mafi from their practice squad and wide receiver Laquon Treadwell.
