4-star wide receiver has committed to Kentucky.
The Kentucky Wildcats secured most of their high school commitments early on Wednesday as the early signing period for college football began. With 20 players already on board for the class of 2025, the Cats were still waiting on one key signature—4-star wide receiver DJ Miller. Although originally set to sign his National Letter of Intent at 1 p.m., Miller delayed his decision after a late push from Ole Miss and Lane Kiffin. Fortunately for Kentucky, Miller officially committed to the Wildcats on Thursday, adding another standout to their recruiting class.
Standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 190 pounds, DJ Miller hails from Illinois and picked Kentucky over a host of top-tier programs, including Ole Miss, Tennessee, Oregon, Michigan, UCLA, Missouri, Texas A&M, and USC. Ranked 185th overall and 5th in Illinois for the 2025 class by Rivals, Miller brings impressive credentials to the Wildcats.
While UK has faced challenges with receiver departures through the portal and from the high school ranks, Miller’s commitment is a major win. With key players like Dane Key and potentially Barion Brown moving on, Miller will have every chance to step into a prominent role in Kentucky’s offense next season.
With the 2025 high school class nearly wrapped up, the focus shifts to portal additions. It’s now time to see how much work the coaching staff is putting into bolstering the roster.
