Falcons injury report: Six players did not participate in Wednesday’s practice as Buccaneers prep week begins
On Wednesday, the Falcons faced some setbacks in their practice session, as six players were unable to participate, and two had limited involvement, according to the team’s announcement.
During his pre-practice press conference, Falcons coach Arthur Smith disclosed that linebacker Nate Landman (knee), defensive linemen David Onyemata (ankle), and offensive linemen Drew Dalman (ankle) and Kaleb McGary (knee) would be sidelined for Wednesday’s practice. Both McGary and Landman had sustained injuries in the Falcons’ Week 13 game and did not return.
Veterans Calais Campbell and Cordarrelle Patterson took a non-injury rest day, a routine practice given to them on Wednesdays. Starting cornerbacks A.J. Terrell (in concussion protocol) and Jeff Okudah (ankle) were limited in their participation.
In the list of full participants, wide receiver Mack Hollins (ankle), cornerback Mike Hughes (hand), and defensive lineman LaCale London (knee) were included. Hollins had missed the Falcons’ last three games, while London returned to practice after being designated to return from injured reserve.
As the Falcons prepare for a crucial divisional clash against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, ongoing updates on player injuries will be provided throughout the week.
