Terry McLaurin has discussed his frustrations with Commanders’ coaches
Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin expressed his dissatisfaction with his offensive role after going without a catch in Sunday’s game against the Dolphins.
Despite playing 45 snaps, McLaurin lamented the lack of opportunities, stating that he essentially did a lot of running without being targeted. This frustration prompted discussions between McLaurin, head coach Ron Rivera, and offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy. Rivera acknowledged these conversations, highlighting McLaurin’s efforts to address his concerns directly. McLaurin’s frustration is exacerbated by his underwhelming performance this season, marked by career-low averages in yards per catch, yards per target, yards per game, and catch success rate.
