Oregon State bolsters Roster With Florida’s Top Starter

Central Florida offensive lineman Keyon Cox is transferring to Oregon State, as confirmed by his agent, A&P Agency. Cox, a redshirt freshman, still has three years of eligibility remaining.

His move to Oregon State marks the third transfer acquisition for the team this month, and Cox becomes the second offensive lineman to join the program, following JT Hand from Arizona.

Keyon Cox, a 6-foot-5, 300-pound offensive lineman, played in three games over two seasons for UCF. This past season, he appeared in games against New Hampshire and Sam Houston, logging 32 plays.

Originally from Alabama, Cox had offers from several programs during high school, including Mississippi State, UAB, Syracuse, Boston College, Memphis, and Appalachian State.

Oregon State, which lost four senior offensive linemen to graduation and saw Luka Vincic transfer to Michigan State, was expected to be active in the transfer portal to address their needs on the offensive line. Cox’s addition bolsters their efforts to fill these gaps.
