2 Broncos Top Starters ruled out of Roster Amid Injury

McLaughlin, who sustained his injury during Sunday’s game against the Colts, was listed as a nonparticipant on Wednesday. He had been listed as limited on Tuesday. Since the team didn’t practice on Monday and only held walkthroughs on Tuesday and Wednesday, the practice reports are considered estimates of player participation.

Moss, who missed Denver’s Week 13 and Week 15 games, was listed as a limited participant on Tuesday and Wednesday. Prior to being listed as limited on Tuesday, he had not practiced since suffering his injury in Week 12 against the Raiders.

Defensive linemen John Franklin-Myers (foot) and D.J. Jones (finger) were full participants in Wednesday’s practice and have no game status, suggesting they will be available for Thursday’s game. Franklin-Myers had been listed as a nonparticipant on Monday and Tuesday, while Jones was nonparticipant on Monday and limited on Tuesday.

Cornerback Pat Surtain II (ankle) was also listed as a full participant for the third straight day and has no game status.

The Broncos will face the Chargers at 6:15 p.m. MT on “Thursday Night Football” on Prime Video.
