East Carolina Football Bolsters Offense with SEC Playmaker Jaquaize Pettaway Ahead of Big 2025-26 Season! After three winning seasons in the last four years, the Pirates are aiming to maintain their momentum with the addition of former Oklahoma wide receiver Jaquaize Pettaway.
Pettaway confirmed his commitment on Friday, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel. In the 2024 season, he tallied five receptions for 87 yards over 11 games with the Sooners.
“Former Oklahoma WR Jaquaize Pettaway has committed to East Carolina, he told ESPN. A former Top 50 recruit in the ESPN rankings, Pettaway recorded 16 receptions for 157 yards at OU. He’ll have two years of eligibility left.”
