Browns Defensive end Receives Prestigious NFL Recognition.
Cleveland Browns fans had few reasons to feel optimistic this season.
The struggling team finished with a disappointing 3-14 record, cycling through four different quarterbacks while also dealing with injuries and trades that affected key players on both offense and defense.
One player who consistently met high expectations was Myles Garrett.
For the fourth year in a row, he recorded at least 14 sacks, further solidifying his dominance on the field.
According to Scott Petrak of the Chronicle-Telegram, Garrett earned a spot on the Professional Football Writers of America’s All-NFL team for the fifth consecutive season, marking the longest streak in the league.
Garrett has now achieved seven straight seasons with double-digit sacks and surpassed 100 career sacks, despite battling multiple injuries throughout the year that could have easily sidelined him.
This is yet another remarkable achievement for the Browns’ most accomplished player.
However, Browns fans are facing a harsh reality: Garrett and the franchise no longer seem to be on the same timeline for competitiveness. After a playoff appearance last season, the team endured a disastrous 2025 campaign. Garrett has made it clear that he’s not interested in a rebuilding phase and has hinted that the team should consider trading him if it plans to continue in that direction.
That’s a difficult conversation to address later in the offseason.
For now, Garrett’s focus is on adding more accolades and recovering to gear up for another strong season in 2025.
