Milan on alert as Man United inquire about Bundesliga star Guirassy
German transfer pundit Florian Plettenberg reports Manchester United have inquired about VfB Stuttgart striker and Milan target Serhou Guirassy who can leave for €20m in January.
It looks like the signing of Rasmus Højlund from Atalanta is not enough for the Red Devils who are planning to sign a new striker in the winter transfer window.
According to German journalist Florian Plettenberg, the Premier League side have sounded out the availability of VfB Stuttgart forward Guirassy, who has also been linked with a move to Milan.
According to the report, Guirassy is among Manchester United’s ‘top candidates’ for the January transfer window. The negotiation is in the early stage so there is still no agreement between the three parties involved in the deal, reports Plettenberg.
Guirassy, 27, is a Guinea international and is expected to be involved in the AFCON in January.
Milan have also set their sights on Lille’s Jonathan David for January, but the Canada international would be more expensive for the Rossoneri who are planning to sell Rade Krunic to partially finance the purchase of a new striker.
