Brosmer is one of four quarterbacks on the West roster for the Shrine Bowl, which is headlined by Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders. The other quarterbacks are UCLA’s Ethan Garbers and Missouri’s Brady Cook. However, with Sanders not playing in the game, Brosmer may have the chance to showcase his skills as a rising prospect who has been impressing during practice.

Brosmer had a strong season in his only year with the Gophers, throwing for 2,828 yards, 18 touchdowns, and six interceptions, completing 66.5% of his passes.

He helped lead the team to a 7-5 regular-season record and a 24-10 win over Virginia Tech in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl on January 3. Now, Brosmer will have an opportunity to further elevate his profile at the East-West Shrine Bowl, where top college football talent will be aiming to boost their stock for the upcoming NFL draft.

Brosmer and the West squad will face off against the East at 7 p.m. Thursday on NFL Network.
