Breaking news: Ravens Kicker Under Scrutiny After Massage Therapy Allegations

NFL Investigating Allegations Against Ravens Kicker Justin Tucker

BALTIMORE — The NFL is looking into allegations that Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker acted inappropriately toward massage therapists at four spas and wellness centers in the Baltimore area, according to a league spokesperson.

The Baltimore Banner published a detailed report Thursday, citing six massage therapists who described encounters with Tucker between 2012 and 2016. Some therapists said they ended sessions early or refused to work with him again, while managers from two spas claimed they banned him.

NFL’s Response
“We first learned of these allegations from the reporter investigating the story, as they were not previously reported to the NFL,” league spokesman Brian McCarthy said. “We take all allegations seriously and will review the matter.

Justin Tucker Accused of Inappropriate Sexual Behavior by Former Massage Therapists

According to the Banner, Tucker is accused of exposing himself, making inappropriate physical contact with two therapists, and leaving what they believed to be bodily fluids on the massage table after three sessions.

Tucker Denies Allegations
Tucker responded on social media, calling the accusations “unequivocally false.”

“The article distorts harmless or ambiguous interactions beyond recognition and presents speculation as fact,” he said.

Tucker’s Career and Contract
The 35-year-old kicker has played 13 seasons with the Ravens and is one of the most well-known kickers in the league. His 66-yard field goal in 2021 remains the longest in NFL history.

In 2022, he signed a four-year contract extension through 2027, which included $17.5 million in guaranteed money.

Ravens’ Statement
A Ravens spokesperson acknowledged the report and Tucker’s response, stating, “We are aware of the Baltimore Banner’s story and take all allegations of this nature seriously. We will continue to monitor the situation.

Past Complaints from Spas
The Banner reported that Ojas, a spa chain, “immediately terminated” Tucker as a client in 2014 after a therapist reported an incident. Studio 921, a now-closed business, also banned Tucker, with its owners saying they took “immediate and decisive action” to ensure a safe environment.

Tucker denied these claims, stating, “I have never received complaints from a massage therapist, never been dismissed from a session, and never been informed that I was unwelcome at any spa or business.”

Comparison to Deshaun Watson Case
The allegations share similarities with those against quarterback Deshaun Watson, who was accused of sexual misconduct by more than two dozen women while playing for Houston. Watson was suspended for 11 games in 2022 after an independent arbitrator found he violated the NFL’s personal conduct policy.

The NFL’s investigation into Tucker is ongoing.
