Orlando’s elite talent set to make an official visit to Nebraska

Nebraska football has become a leading contender for 2026 prospect Danny Odem, who shared positive thoughts about the program in a recent conversation with Rivals.com’s Tim Verghese.

Odem is ranked as the 44th best cornerback and 77th overall player in the 2026 class from Florida, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. A three-star recruit, he currently has no Crystal Ball predictions.

With 19 offers on the table, including from Florida, Florida State, Miami, North Carolina, Penn State, and Wisconsin, Odem is highly sought after.

Over three years of varsity play, he has shown strong defensive skills, recording multiple tackles and five interceptions. In 2024, he finished with 45 tackles and two interceptions across 10 games, per Maxpreps.com statistics.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Odem also expressed a strong bond with head coach Matt Rhule, stating, “Coach Rhule is my dawg, I see great things at Nebraska happening in the future.”

As Nebraska continues to recruit talent from Florida, adding Odem would be another key piece in the rebuilding of their secondary, helping build depth for the future.
