The Gophers will be hosting a number of top 2026 prospects later this spring.
Jamarcus “Juice” Jones, a DB/WR from Columbus, Ohio, is the latest 2026 recruit to confirm an official visit with Minnesota, scheduled for Wednesday. He will be joining many other prospects attending the program’s annual “Summer Splash” event later this year.
At 6 feet tall and 165 pounds, Jones is an intriguing two-way player. In his junior season at Harvest Preparatory School, he posted 38 receptions for 1,094 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging an impressive 28.8 yards per catch. On defense, he contributed seven interceptions.

Jones received his first FBS offer from Toledo in January and has since added 11 more, with notable offers from Kentucky, West Virginia, and USF. He is currently unranked on the 247Sports Composite.
Minnesota has 12 recruits scheduled for official visits during the weekend of May 30 to June 1, but Jones will visit two weekends later, from June 13-15. The “Summer Splash” event is a key recruiting period for the Gophers, and this year will be no exception.
