The Baltimore Ravens are facing significant pressure, perhaps more than any other NFL team. After another disappointing playoff exit and failing to reach the Super Bowl, they must capitalize on Lamar Jackson’s prime years while they still have him.
Complicating matters, the Ravens may lose their starting left tackle, as Ronnie Stanley will become a free agent when the new league year begins in less than a week. In response, Matt Verderame of Sports Illustrated suggests that Minnesota Vikings offensive tackle Cam Robinson could be a solid replacement for Stanley if he signs elsewhere.
“If the Ravens lose Ronnie Stanley in free agency, they could opt for a more affordable replacement,” Verderame writes. “Baltimore could go younger, but Robinson offers more durability and is younger than Stanley, though he’s not as talented. With a limited draft class at the position, Robinson could serve as a bridge for a few years.”
Robinson had a solid 2024 season with the Vikings, helping them achieve a 14-3 record and the top NFC Wild Card spot. However, he needs to improve his consistency, having allowed 52 pressures in 2024—the second-most in the league, according to PFF.
