Broncos Poised to Sign Veteran WR in NFL Free Agency.

Bo Nix shattered expectations in his rookie season, throwing for 3,775 yards with a 66.3% completion rate and a 29-12 TD-INT ratio. He led the Broncos to a 10-7 record and their first playoff berth since 2015. Now, Denver’s front office is focused on giving their young quarterback better weapons.

If Nix found success with Javonte Williams, Devaughn Vele, and Adam Trautman, imagine what he could do with top-tier playmakers. While Denver may target rookies to fill their RB1 and TE1 roles, don’t be surprised if they add a veteran wide receiver in free agency. One logical option? Amari Cooper.

According to Mike Jones of The Athletic, “The Broncos badly want a veteran wide receiver to pair with second-year pro Bo Nix. With the Bengals taking Tee Higgins off the free-agent market, Cooper is among the best options available.”

Cooper was traded to Buffalo midseason but never quite clicked with Josh Allen, resulting in his worst statistical season since 2018. A fresh start in Denver could be exactly what he needs—and a partnership with Nix could be a game-changer for both.
