The February National Signing Day, which has lost much of its significance since the introduction of the Early Signing Period in December, was quiet for the Oregon football team and most programs across the country.
The Ducks did not add any new high school recruits to their 2025 class on Wednesday, as the entire 19-member class had been signed on December 4. With the exception of Michigan, the rankings of the top 10 signing classes remained unchanged, with Oregon securing a spot in the consensus top five nationally.
Oregon’s 2025 class is highlighted by two consensus five-star recruits: receiver Dakorien Moore and cornerback Na’eem Offord. The class also includes four-star quarterback Akili Smith Jr., who is a legacy commit.
Where does Oregon football rank nationally after February Signing Day?
Since the Ducks and many other teams wrapped up their recruiting in December, there was no movement in the rankings after Signing Day. Michigan was the only team to rise in the rankings, adding highly sought-after offensive lineman Ty Haywood, but they still did not break into the top five on any major recruiting site.
According to ESPN, Oregon is ranked third nationally, behind Texas (No. 1) and Georgia (No. 2), with 16 players in the “ESPN 300.” On3 ranks the Ducks fourth, behind Texas, Georgia, and Alabama, while 247Sports has Oregon second, only behind Texas. Rivals has Oregon in the fifth spot, behind Texas, Georgia, Ohio State, and Alabama. The 247Sports Composite ranking, which takes all recruiting sites into account for a consensus, places Oregon fifth.
