Seahawks Sign Former Rams Star!
The Los Angeles Rams have overhauled their wide receiver group this offseason, most notably by releasing Cooper Kupp and bringing in Davante Adams as his replacement.

Despite efforts to trade Kupp, the team was unable to find a deal, largely due to the two years remaining on his contract and its substantial cost. With a roster bonus set to be paid at the start of the league year, the Rams opted to cut him to avoid the financial obligation.
That move made Kupp a free agent, allowing him to choose his next destination. Unsurprisingly, the 31-year-old drew significant interest as he hit the open market for the first time in his career.
After carefully considering his options, the Yakima native has decided to return home and will be signing with the Seattle Seahawks, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
This is a solid move for Kupp, who proved he still has plenty left in the tank after playing 12 games last season, recording 67 receptions for 710 yards and six touchdowns with the Rams.
While he may no longer be the dominant triple crown receiver he once was, Kupp remains a reliable playmaker who can contribute on the field while also serving as a veteran leader and mentor for younger players.
As for the Rams, they’ll now have to contend with him twice a year, as he stays in the NFC West with his hometown Seahawks. With Seattle’s offense undergoing changes—including Sam Darnold taking over at quarterback—Kupp will undoubtedly be motivated to make his former team regret letting him go.
