This move comes after losing versatile lineman Patrick Mekari to the Jaguars and backup tackle Josh Jones to the Seahawks. Cleveland adds crucial depth at guard behind Daniel Faalele and Andrew Vorhees, who locked down the starting left guard role last season. While Baltimore retained Ronnie Stanley, they still need reinforcements at tackle.

Cleveland, known for his versatility, has worked at both guard and tackle. Though he hasn’t secured a starting job since being drafted in the third round in 2021, the 6-foot-6, 360-pound lineman played all 17 games last season, albeit in a limited role (49 offensive snaps). He logged 162 snaps and two starts in 2023, with his career-high of four starts coming in his rookie year.

Vorhees is the favorite to step in at left guard, but Cleveland provides competition. The Ravens may still look to add more offensive linemen in the draft, even after bringing back Stanley and Cleveland.
