Cowboys Fans Heartbroken as Cooper Rush Signs with Ravens, Wife Shares Exciting Move!
After spending eight seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, quarterback Cooper Rush has officially joined the Baltimore Ravens. The 31-year-old QB signed a two-year deal worth up to $12.2 million after Dallas opted not to extend his contract. With the move, Rush and his family relocated from Dallas to Baltimore. His wife, Lauryn Rush, celebrated the transition by posting a family photo on Instagram, captioned: “Year 9 in Baltimore.”

Ravens fans quickly flooded the post with welcome messages for their new backup quarterback. Meanwhile, Cowboys supporters also reacted to Lauryn Rush’s Ravens announcement. While many were happy to see their former QB find a new home, they couldn’t help but feel a sense of sadness as well.
“As a lifelong Cowboys fan, I am incredibly sad to see you go. Wishing you nothing but love and success! Dallas will definitely miss you,” one Instagram user commented. Another simply wrote, “Noooo,” while someone else reacted with, “NOOOOOOO COOOPERERRRRRR.”
One fan expressed mixed emotions, saying, “I’m so sad as a Cowboys fan! Love Rush and your beautiful family. Wishing you all the best in Baltimore!” Another echoed the sentiment, writing, “Sad as a Cowboys fan, but soooooo happy for you guys!! And I only live 40 minutes from Baltimore!” A different supporter declared, “Dallas will miss him!” Even Rush’s former teammate, wide receiver Jalen Brooks, shared his feelings with a pair of emojis.
Now a member of the Ravens, Rush is set to serve as the backup to two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson. He previously held the same role behind Dak Prescott in Dallas, and time will tell if he gets more opportunities to see the field with his new team.
