The recruiting hustle never quits, and Arizona State beefed up their offensive line crew on Monday by landing Marques Uini’s commitment.
Hailing from Copperas Cove, Texas, Marques Uini is the newest Sun Devil, joining the team through their #Texas2Tempe and Polynesian recruiting channels.
Uini carries an official 3-star rating but teeters on the edge of 4-star status, with a chance to climb higher before he steps on campus. He’s pegged as the 56th top interior offensive lineman in the country and cracks the Top 100 in the talent-packed Lone Star State.
A hot commodity, Uini drew interest from heavyweights like Michigan, Baylor, and Arkansas, plus a slew of other programs. His brother currently suits up for Georgia, and the Bulldogs had been ramping up their pursuit, but Arizona State sealed the deal with his commitment.
At 6’4″ and 293 pounds, Uini rolls into Tempe with a solid build and room to bulk up and power up once he hits the weight room.
As the eighth piece of Arizona State’s 2026 recruiting puzzle and the second lineman in the haul, Uini boosts the Sun Devils to second in the Big 12 and 18th nationally for the cycle. Head coach Kenny Dillingham is gunning for his strongest recruiting class yet, and Uini’s pledge is a big step in that direction.
