Bears pull off Shocking trade in 2025 NFL Draft, say mock drafts.

The Chicago Bears find themselves in a distinctive position with the 10th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. They don’t have a need for a quarterback and have already addressed their key roster requirements early in the offseason. The team strengthened their offensive line by adding three new starters and reinforced their defensive line with the additions of Grady Jarrett and Dayo Odeyingbo.

While the additions of Jarrett and Odeyingbo wouldn’t rule out the possibility of the Bears selecting a defensive lineman in the first round, it’s unlikely they’ll do so at No. 10. Outside of Michigan’s Mason Graham or Penn State’s Abdul Carter, there aren’t many defensive line prospects who would justify using the 10th pick. However, if either Graham or Carter is still available when the Bears are on the clock, they shouldn’t hesitate to make the pick. In fact, the Bears might not waste any time going after Carter. According to PFF’s latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft, Ryan Poles could even make a bold move to trade up.

The mock trade has the Bears acquiring the No. 2 overall pick from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for the No. 10, No. 39, No. 148 picks, and a 2026 first-round pick. With that No. 2 selection, PFF has the Bears selecting Abdul Carter.
