Third Notre Dame Player Enters Spring Transfer Portal

On the second day of the spring transfer portal window, a third Notre Dame player has decided to enter his name.

Kicker Zac Yoakam, who saw significant action last season while starter Mitch Jeter was sidelined with an injury, is now in the portal. He successfully made all 18 of his extra point attempts but converted just 2 of 5 field goal tries.

A native of Upper Arlington, Ohio, Yoakam is entering the portal as a graduate transfer.

Yoakam now joins safety and special teams contributor Kennedy Urlacher and long snapper Rino Monteforte as the latest Notre Dame players to enter the transfer portal during the spring window. So far, the departures have primarily affected the Irish’s special teams unit. It remains to be seen if more players will follow suit in the coming days.
