Just In: Detroit Lions appear to be parting ways with their sensational player

Michigan’s Lansing (WILX) – After three seasons with the Detroit Lions, it seems as though Jerry Jacobs’ time with the team may be coming to an end. The Arkansas cornerback posted a statement on social media, but there hasn’t been any official word yet.

If Jacobs’ time with Detroit is actually coming to a close, he will have played 131 games, 116 of which were single tackles, during his career. During that period, Jacobs also had one forced fumble and four interceptions.

James Houston IV, a linebacker for Detroit, was present at practice today and seems to be ready for Sunday’s playoff game. Houston had a successful rookie season with the Lions last year, but they haven’t played since Week 2 against Seattle.
