Tension is palpable in the City of Brotherly Love as the Philadelphia Eagles enter the playoffs in a less-than-ideal state. Once boasting a remarkable 10-1 record, positioning themselves as NFC frontrunners, the Eagles faltered down the stretch, losing five of their last six games. This slump resulted in them sliding to the fifth seed in the conference, forcing them to start their playoff journey away from home.
Adding to their challenges, the Eagles will be without one of their key players when they face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night in Tampa Bay. Star wide receiver A.J. Brown, who suffered a knee sprain in the season finale against the New York Giants, has been ruled out for the crucial Monday night matchup.
#Eagles WR A.J. Brown will be ruled out against the #Buccaneers, sources say. He worked to try to get ready but won’t make it. Should Philly advance, he could be available for the Divisional Round.

As previously mentioned, there’s a possibility that A.J. Brown could be back in action for the Divisional Round if the Eagles secure a victory on Monday night.
However, Brown isn’t the sole key player dealing with injuries in the Eagles’ offensive lineup. Quarterback Jalen Hurts faced a setback when he dislocated a finger on his throwing hand during the loss to the Giants. Despite this, he is anticipated to be part of the starting lineup when they take on the Buccaneers.
