Joe Barry’s departure as the defensive coordinator was revealed by Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur on Wednesday.

Including the last three seasons as a defensive coordinator for the Packers, Barry has 22 seasons of NFL experience.

The Packers finished the season 17th in total defence, despite making it to the NFC Divisional round this year. The defence did rank in the top 10 for the fewest points allowed, but it did have its moments. However, Green Bay’s run defence, which ranked 28th in the league, was one of their biggest areas of worry this season.
