The dawn of a new era in Michigan football is marked by Sherrone Moore’s elevation to the position of head coach. Leading his staff into action, they have embarked on a recruiting journey. On Tuesday, two coaches paid a visit to the school of a prominent target in this recruiting cycle.
Head coach Sherrone Moore personally visited Washington (OK.) to assess the potential of Nate Roberts, a four-star tight end prospect in the class of 2025.
Standing at an impressive 6-foot-4 and weighing 235 pounds, Nate Roberts is widely regarded as one of the top talents in his position. Accumulating more than 30 scholarship offers, the highly sought-after prospect received an offer from the Michigan football program in April. His visit to the Maize and Blue campus took place during the summer. Despite originally committing to Notre Dame in June, Roberts decided to reopen his recruitment just a few months later.
As of now, Ohio State holds the leading position in the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions for Nate Roberts, with both forecasts favoring the Buckeyes. In the 247Sports Composite rankings, Roberts is ranked as the No. 107 overall prospect in the 2025 class, standing as the No. 4 tight end nationally, and securing the No. 2 spot among players in Kansas for his class.
