Davidson’s commitment on Tuesday follows his receipt of offers from prominent schools such as Cincinnati, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami, and Penn State. These six schools were part of Davidson’s top-seven list, which he disclosed on January 19th, alongside Auburn.
On the same day as Auburn’s Junior Day, Davidson also received an offer from Ole Miss.
Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 238 pounds, Davidson is ranked by 247 Sports as the nation’s 22nd tight end and the 42nd overall recruit from the state of Georgia in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
During his junior season at McIntosh High School in Peachtree City, Georgia, Davidson made 30 receptions for 436 yards and scored three touchdowns, contributing to the Chiefs’ playoff appearance in 2023. Additionally, at McIntosh, Davidson plays as a goalkeeper for the Chiefs’ soccer team.
By committing to Auburn, Davidson becomes part of the Tigers’ eight-man recruiting class for 2025. He also joins fellow three-star tight end Ryan Ghea, who committed to Auburn in November.
