Breaking news: Oklahoma Trio Invited to 2024 NFL Combine

The group of Oklahoma players slated for the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine was revealed on Tuesday.

Among them are three offensive linemen coached by Bill Bedenbaugh: Tyler Guyton, Andrew Raym, and Walter Rouse, all set to participate in the combine from Feb. 26 to March 4 in Indianapolis.

Guyton, who is widely anticipated to be Bedenbaugh’s second first-round pick, will have the opportunity to solidify his standing as one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the NFL. Meanwhile, Raym and Rouse aim to capitalize on positive evaluations stemming from their performances at the Senior Bowl and Shrine Bowl.

It’s worth noting that wide receiver Drake Stoops did not receive an invitation.

Stoops had a significant role in Oklahoma’s passing game, with 84 receptions for 962 yards and 10 touchdowns last season.

Additionally, three former OU players received invites to the combine.

Caleb Williams and Spencer Rattler, who were once teammates in the Norman quarterback room, both received invitations. Williams, the 2022 Heisman Trophy recipient, amassed 3,633 passing yards and 30 touchdowns with a completion rate of 68.6% while playing for USC in 2023, leading the team to an 8-5 record following their appearance in the 2022 Pac 12 title game.
