ATLANTA (WBTV) – Cam Newton, the former NFL MVP and Carolina Panther, was reportedly implicated in a altercation at a youth football camp in Atlanta this past Sunday.
The incident took place during the We Ball Sports 7-on-7 flag football tournament, which was an invite-only event.
Footage of the altercation involving Newton began circulating on social media on Sunday.
The reason behind the altercation remains unclear, as does Newton’s role in attempting to intervene or resolve the situation.

After spending nine years with the Panthers, during which he led them to Super Bowl 50 and won the MVP title, Newton joined the Patriots in 2020 and started in 15 games.
He then returned to the Panthers in 2021, starting in five games for the team.
