Breaking news: Dallas Mavericks Raised $1.8 Million for Mavs Foundation

The Dallas Mavericks generated $1.8 million for the Mavs Foundation during their ninth annual Mavs Ball, a flagship fundraising occasion organized yearly by the Mavericks franchise. This event highlights the recipients of grants and the philanthropic endeavors undertaken by the Dallas Mavericks throughout the season.

In the span of 27 years, the Mavs Foundation has allocated over $10 million in grant funding to various nonprofit organizations dedicated to aiding women, children, and families in need. Additionally, the foundation has constructed 56 secure Learn & Play spaces across North Texas, comprising 31 basketball courts and 25 Reading & Learning Centers.

These facilities aim to promote healthy lifestyles, offer safe havens for children and residents, and enhance educational opportunities by providing access to technology for youth education programs, job-skill training for teenagers and adults, and other essential initiatives.

Some of the auction items featured at the event included:

“NBA2K at AAC”

Experience playing NBA 2K alongside Dallas Mavericks players and the professional Mavs Gaming Team on the massive screen at the American Airlines Center. This unique opportunity allows a party of ten to enjoy two hours of NBA2K coaching, gameplay, and an exclusive behind-the-scenes arena tour.

JOSH GREEN KICKS & COFFEE

From making baskets on the basketball court to making goals on the soccer field, come hang out with Dallas Mavericks’ Josh Green and FC Dallas Goalkeeper Maarten Paes at the FC Dallas facility for a blend of coffee and fun.

You and up to three companions will savor coffee sourced from Josh’s preferred coffee joint, participate in a one-hour supervised shooting session, and receive an exclusive tour of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
