Throckmorton, who initially joined the Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2021, swiftly earned a spot in the starting lineup, featuring in 14 out of 17 games in his rookie year. Following a season as a backup in 2022, he parted ways with the team that offseason. Spending a significant portion of last season with the Carolina Panthers, he started in 7 out of 9 games before being waived. He then assumed a reserve role with the Tennessee Titans for the remainder of the season.
Throckmorton is expected to bolster depth in Denver’s offensive line, supporting established guards Quinn Meinerz and Ben Powers. The addition of an experienced player familiar with the system is always valuable. Fans can anticipate seeing Throckmorton return to the Superdome later this fall.
