The Kentucky Wildcats have almost finalized their roster for the 2024-25 season with the recent additions of Kerr Kriisa and Koby Brea.
Brea committed to the Wildcats on Wednesday, signing officially after a four-year stint at Dayton. Shortly after, Kriisa also committed, with his signing confirmed by the school on Thursday.
Coach Mark Pope expressed his excitement about both players joining the team. Regarding Brea, Pope praised his efficiency, labeling him as one of the most efficient mid-to-high major players in college basketball in the past decade. He highlighted Brea’s exceptional shooting skills and described him as a valuable addition to the team’s playing style, predicting an exciting journey for Big Blue Nation with him on board.
As for Kriisa, Pope emphasized his shooting abilities and extensive experience as one of the best guards in the country. He mentioned his long recruitment process and highlighted Kriisa’s competitive spirit, which Pope believes will greatly influence both the team’s performance on the court and its atmosphere in the locker room. Pope predicted that Kentucky fans would appreciate Kriisa’s bold personality.
