BREAKING NEWS: Another young talented star lands offer from Louisville

Trinity High School’s football team is gearing up for the upcoming season with a crop of talented youngsters. Among them, one standout caught the attention of the University of Louisville football staff during their recent elite camp, earning himself a scholarship offer.

Allen Evans, a promising cornerback from Trinity and a sophomore-to-be in the Class of 2027, made an impression at the camp. Following a strong performance, which included winning the majority of his one-on-one battles against wide receivers, Evans had discussions with cornerback coach Steve Ellis, recruiting coordinator Trent Mossbrucker, and head coach Jeff Brohm. It was Brohm who extended the scholarship offer, citing Evans’ competitive spirit and hard work ethic.

Measuring in at 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds, Evans showcased his skills with a 4.86 40-yard dash time. His performance drew praise from the coaching staff, particularly for his size, ability, and relentless effort on the field. Working closely with Ellis during the camp’s instructional sessions, Evans relished the opportunity and expressed gratitude for the experience.

With encouragement from coaches like Ellis, who sees potential for Evans to excel at a higher level, the young cornerback remains focused on his journey, fueled by determination and hard work.
