Originally offered by Oklahoma in February, Mix visited the campus in the spring. Hailing from Frisco, Texas, and Lone Star High School, Mix comes from a program with strong connections to OU, including former star Marvin Mims, now with the NFL’s Denver Broncos.

Oklahoma now boasts two commitments for the 2026 class, with Mix joining standout running back Jonathan Hatton Jr., who committed in October 2023. This early momentum indicates a promising start for the Sooners in their recruitment efforts.
