Keiundre Johnson, a defensive lineman from Terrell, Texas, has committed to play for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Johnson, standing at 6-3 and 230 pounds, announced his decision after completing an official visit in Fayetteville. He opted for Arkansas over offers from SMU, Texas A&M, Baylor, Florida State, LSU, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Oregon, Texas, USC, and others. He becomes the eleventh verbal commitment for Arkansas in the Class of 2025.
Johnson cited his strong connection with Coach Adams and Coach Green, as well as the camaraderie with the players in Fayetteville, as key factors in his decision. His decision-making process was swift, as he made up his mind after a positive 48-hour official visit.
Recruited by defensive line coach Deke Adams, Johnson was impressed by the defensive scheme and coaching style at Arkansas. He praised Coach Adams for his approach and found him easy to connect with. According to 247Sports, Johnson is rated as a three-star prospect, the 49th edge rusher nationally, and the 123rd overall recruit in Texas for the 2025 recruiting cycle.
In addition to Johnson, Arkansas also secured a commitment earlier in the day from JaQuentin Madison, a defensive lineman from Alpharetta, Georgia.
