Oregon State Athletics is thrilled to announce the 2024 Hall of Fame class, which includes one coach and ten student-athletes.
The inductees are Derek Anderson, Darwin Barney, Pat Casey, Jacoby Ellsbury, Robbie Findley, Joey Hansen, Saori Haruguchi, Leslie Mak, Cambria Miranda, Jacquizz Rodgers, and Kathy Weston.
The enshrinement ceremony will take place on Friday, September 13, and the class will be honored on the field during the Oregon State vs. Oregon football game at Reser Stadium on Saturday, September 14, at 12:30 p.m. PT. Further details on the enshrinement time and ticket information will be provided later.
Derek Anderson (Football)
Led OSU to three bowl games.
Sixth person in Pac-12 history to surpass 10,000 passing yards.
Held numerous OSU passing records upon graduation.
Drafted in the sixth round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers; part of the Super Bowl roster.
2007 Pro Bowler with a lengthy NFL career.
-State of Oregon High School Basketball and Football Player of the Year as a senior.
Darwin Barney Baseball
Three-year letter winner (2005-07).
Led the Beavers to three Omaha appearances, winning national championships in 2006 and 2007.
2005 Pac-10 Freshman of the Year.
First-Team All-League in 2006 and honorable mention in 2007.
Batted .311 over three seasons, collecting 40 doubles, six triples, seven home runs, and 136 RBIs.
Left OSU as the all-time leader in hits (238) and at-bats (765).
Drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 4th round; debuted in MLB in 2010.
Played for eight seasons, earning the Fielding Bible Award and a Gold Glove Award in 2012.
Served as an assistant coach for Mitch Canham from 2020-2023.
Pat Casey Baseball
Six CWS appearances with three national titles.
Most titles by any coach since the NCAA introduced the Super Regional format in 1999.
Five-time National Coach of the Year and five Pac-10/12 titles.
900 wins, the most by any coach in any sport at OSU, and sixth in Pac-12 history.
662 winning percentage, tied for 10th in Pac-12 records and fourth among coaches since 1995.
Jacoby Ellsbury Baseball
Three-year letterman 2003-2005
2005 Pac-10 Co-Player of the Year and first-team All-American.
Drafted in the first round by the Boston Red Sox.
MLB Comeback Player of the Year, Golden Glove Award winner, and two-time World Series champion.
Led MLB in stolen bases twice and set a Red Sox record for stolen bases in 2009.
Robbie Findley Soccer
Three-time All-Region selection and Co-Pac-10 Freshman of the Year in 2003.
Four-time All-Pac-12 honoree, ranking second in OSU history with 71 career points.
Played 13 MLS seasons and helped Real Salt Lake win the 2009 MLS Cup.
Made 11 appearances for the US Men’s National Team, including the 2010 World Cup.
Joey Hansen Rowing
2004 Olympic Gold medalist in men’s eight.
Three-time Pac-10 first-team and U.S. National team member, winning medals at World Championships.
Inducted into the National Rowing Hall of Fame in 2010.
Saori Haruguchi (Swimming
2008 NCAA National Champion in 200m butterfly.
10-time All-American and two-time OSU Female Athlete of the Year.
Competed in the Olympics and named OSU Female Newcomer of the Year in 2006.
Leslie Mak Gymnastics
Four-time letterwinner (2009-12) and two-time Pac-10/12 Gymnast of the Year.
All-American in 2011 and 2012, and OSU Female Athlete of the Year.
Held the second-best all-around score in OSU history upon graduation.
Cambria Miranda Softball
First Team All-American in 2006 and Second Team All-American in 2007.
Set school records for runs and ranked second in home runs and stolen bases.
Led her team to its first Conference title in 2005 and competed in the NCAA College World Series in 2006.
Jacquizz Rodgers Football
Fifth-round NFL Draft pick by the Falcons.
2008 All-American and Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year.
Three-time Pac-10 First Team, holding numerous OSU records.
Played eight NFL seasons.
Kathy Weston Track & Field
1978 National Champion in 800 meters and 1979 All-American in the 2-mile relay.
Competed in the 1976 Olympics and twice in the Pan American Games, winning gold and bronze medals.
Holds OSU records in the 400 and 800 meters.
